Breville and Sage: one machine, two names
Australian Breville could not use its own name in the UK and Europe, where the trademark was already taken, so the machines are sold here as Sage. Apart from the badge and the plug there is no difference: the same model numbers, the same pumps, the same grinders and the same spare parts. If you bought a Breville in Australia or the US, it is the same machine we work on every day.

What does it cost?
Diagnosis is free. Below is where most repairs land, so you can tell whether it is worth going ahead. The exact price we can only set once the machine is on the bench, because that is the only way to see what is actually wrong.

How to find us
You drop the machine off with us at Nyborggade 11D, 2100 Copenhagen Ø. We take machines in by arrangement, so send an enquiry first and agree on a time. That way we know we are here when you arrive.

Questions about Breville
Are Sage and Breville the same machine?
Yes. Breville sells its espresso machines under the Sage name in the UK and Europe, because the Breville trademark was already taken here. A Breville Barista Express is the same machine as a Sage Barista Express, with the same parts inside.
Can you repair a Breville I brought back from abroad?
Yes, mechanically it is identical to the European Sage model and we use the same parts. Be aware that a machine bought outside Europe may be built for 110–120 volts. Mention it in your enquiry so we can take it into account.
Does the warranty apply to an imported machine?
The manufacturer’s warranty usually follows the country the machine was bought in. Our own warranty on the repair applies wherever the machine came from: 12 months on the work we have done.
Are the model numbers the same?
Yes: BES870 Barista Express, BES876 Barista Express Impress, BES878 Barista Pro, BES880 Barista Touch, BES920 Dual Boiler, BES980 Oracle, BES990 Oracle Touch, BES450 Bambino and BES500 Bambino Plus.
