Why only Sage?
A workshop that takes every brand starts from scratch every time. We see the same six or seven models every week, which means we know where they are weak: which seal hardens first, where the scale settles, and which board faults can be soldered rather than replaced wholesale. That makes the repair faster, cheaper and longer-lasting. If we can’t help, we say so straight away and point you elsewhere.

What does it cost?
Diagnosis is free. Below is where most repairs land, so you can tell whether it is worth going ahead. The exact price we can only set once the machine is on the bench, because that is the only way to see what is actually wrong.
Guide prices, parts included. Oracle and Dual Boiler usually sit at the top of each range.

How to find us
You drop the machine off with us at Nyborggade 11D, 2100 Copenhagen Ø. We take machines in by arrangement, so send an enquiry first and agree on a time. That way we know we are here when you arrive.

Questions about the workshop
Who repairs my machine?
We do, at the workshop in Østerbro. Whoever you write to is also the person who takes the machine apart. There is no call centre in between.
Are you an authorised Sage service centre?
No. Kaffedoktor is an independent workshop and is not affiliated with Sage or Breville. If your machine is still under the manufacturer’s warranty, go to the retailer first, or the warranty may be void.
What happens to my machine while you have it?
It is taken apart, the fault is found, parts are replaced, and the machine is descaled and cleaned. Finally we pull espresso on it and steam milk before we tell you it is ready.
What do you do with old machines?
If a machine isn’t worth repairing, we often buy it. Usable parts go towards saving other machines, and the rest is recycled.
